The list ranks the leading independent financial-advisory firms based on asset value as of December 2003. With $127 million in assets under management, Spraker, Fitzgerald, Tamayo & Moisand saw a 44.2 percent growth from 2002.

This year's list includes 450 registered investment advisory firms, ranked by average client relationship size and compared with 370 qualifying firms from last year. As a group, the 450 Top Wealth Manager firms saw their total assets grow 32.2 percent in 2003.
