Moisand Elected President of Financial Planning Association

Orlando, Fla. - November 23, 2004 - Dan Moisand, Certified Financial Planner and principal of Central Florida-based wealth management and retirement services firm, Spraker, Fitzgerald, Tamayo & Moisand, LLC has been named president-elect of the Financial Planners Association (FPA) for 2005. His term begins January 1 as president-elect of the Executive Committee, followed by two additional years as president and chairman, respectively.

As president, Moisand will be the spokesperson for the FPA, traveling around the country to communicate with members, state and regional chapters and consumer and professional media. Additional responsibilities include appointing board advisors and presiding over executive committee meetings. FPA presidents are often called upon to testify in front of Congress
