Fitzgerald Featured as Financial Expert on ABC Interview

February 22, 2005 – Orlando, Fla. – Charles Fitzgerald, III, Certified Financial Planner and principal of financial planning and wealth management firm, Spraker, Fitzgerald, Tamayo & Moisand, appeared on ABC’s Orlando-based news affiliate, WFTV Channel 9, where he provided his opinion on the Social Security program presented by President Bush. Fitzgerald served as a financial expert in the report, which also featured the thoughts of a 20-year old working student and his employer. The reporter explored the opinions on Bush’s proposed Social Security program from two age groups and compared their thoughts to Fitzgerald’s financial experience.

“ I am in support of the President's plan to reform Social Security. The young workers that are entering the system will now have a high probability of benefiting with retirement dollars of their own when they reach 65 and retirees are also being assured that their benefits will not be significantly reduced,” says Fitzgerald. “The costs to reform Social Security are estimated to be $900 billion over the next 10 years. In the big picture, this is a small and necessary price to pay to save Social Security for future generations.”
