Orlando, Fla. – July 31, 2007 – Central Florida-based wealth management and retirement services firm, Spraker, Fitzgerald, Tamayo & Moisand, received national honor in industry trade magazines Wealth Manager and Financial Advisor.
The recognition included ranking for the seventh consecutive year in Wealth Manager magazine’s “Top Dog,” its list of top advisory firms, and Financial Advisor magazine’s registered independent advisors “Top RIA” ranking, its annual list of independent advisory firms that offer financial planning and related services along with investment management.

To qualify for Top Dog ranking, firms had to be registered investment advisers with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), offer financial-planning services, and have more than 50 percent of their client base consist of “individuals” or “high-net worth individuals” as defined by the SEC. Additionally, both lists required firms have at least $50 million in assets under management.
Assets of the average RIA firm climbed 25 percent in 2006, compared with a gain of just 15.7 percent for the S&P 500 index and an increase in assets of 16 percent for the mutual fund industry. Spraker, Fitzergald, Tamayo and Moisand increased assets by 23.13%, according to Financial Advisor. The median firm in the survey saw revenues increase 22.1 percent.
