Florida Financial Planning Association President Addresses Governor; Receives Proclamation Declaring Financial Planning Week

Charlie Fitzgerald receives state proclamation, declaring Oct. 1-7 as Financial Planning Week.

Orlando, Fla. – September 21, 2007 – Charlie Fitzgerald, Florida’s Financial Planning Association (FPA) president and principal at wealth management and retirement services firm, Spraker, Fitzgerald, Tamayo & Moisand, addressed Governor Crist and his cabinet and received a state proclamation declaring Oct. 1-7 as Financial Planning Week.

In his address, Fitzgerald expressed the FPA’s commitment to being a resource for the state government and support for Florida’s new Financial Literacy Council. Financial Planning Week activities include educational seminars and a live telephone hotline to answer general financial questions.
